  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef according to package instructions; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large baking dish, layer half of the tater tots, followed by the beef mixture, salsa, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Top with remaining tater tots and cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly; top with sour cream, green onions, and black olives before serving.
