- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking tray.
- Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom.
- Place the cooked meatballs on top of the sauce and cover with the remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the meatball mixture.
- Serve with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
