Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking tray.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom.
  6. Place the cooked meatballs on top of the sauce and cover with the remaining sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the meatball mixture.
