- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the butter mixture and beat until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Drop small spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
- These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
