- 12 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Freeze the mozzarella sticks for at least 1 hour.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings.
- Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the breaded mozzarella sticks until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
