- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust and chill for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
Notes
- For a firmer cheesecake, refrigerate overnight.
- Experiment with different pie fillings for variety.
