- 1 pound Cajun sausage
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup honey

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup bell peppers, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in onion and bell peppers, cooking until soft.
- Add garlic, paprika, and honey, cooking for another minute.
- Stir in rice and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
Notes
- For more spice, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Feel free to substitute sausage with chicken or tofu.
