- 2 racks beef short ribs
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet, meat side up, and generously coat them with the sauce mixture.
- Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the barbecue sauce.
- Serve with coleslaw and cornbread for a complete meal.
