- 1 loaf brioche bread
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups heavy cream

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 cup additional sugar for caramelizing
Instructions
- Slice the brioche bread into 1-inch thick slices and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread slices, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the French toast for 30-35 minutes until golden and set.
- Sprinkle the additional sugar evenly over the top of the baked French toast and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with fresh berries or maple syrup.
