- 4 cups sliced fresh peaches
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup oats
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in oats and vanilla extract, then set aside half of the mixture for topping.
- Press the remaining mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Layer the sliced peaches over the crust.
- Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture on top of the peaches.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cinnamon to the peach mixture.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
