- 1 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, whisk together milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Fold in chopped pecans and pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until set. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, toast the pecans before adding them to the filling.
- This pie can be served warm or chilled.
