- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple
- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the crushed pineapple with its juice evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix on top of the pineapple.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- Add coconut and chopped nuts if desired.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
