Instructions
- Peel and grate the potatoes and onion.
- In a mixing bowl, combine grated potatoes and onion with egg, flour, salt, and pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Scoop tablespoonfuls of the mixture into the pan, flattening them into pancakes.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add garlic or other herbs to the mixture.
- Serve with sour cream or applesauce for dipping.
