Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and marshmallows together until smooth. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a prepared pan to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until well combined and gently pour the filling over the crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Top with chocolate chips if desired before slicing.
