  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice the ripe plantains lengthwise.
  3. In a skillet, cook onion and garlic until fragrant, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning, simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg until combined.
  6. Layer plantains, beef mixture, ricotta, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
  7. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
