Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and instant yeast together.
  2. Add the water, rosemary, and garlic, and stir until well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  4. After the resting period, preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  5. On a floured surface, shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven and place the dough inside. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

  • This bread is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in a breadbox for up to 3 days.
