  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, and green)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the bell peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they are tender.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and bell peppers, stirring until well coated and slightly thickened.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or snap peas for more variety.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes as desired.
