- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, and green)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the bell peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the shrimp and bell peppers, stirring until well coated and slightly thickened.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like broccoli or snap peas for more variety.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes as desired.
