- 1 whole chicken
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, onions, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Once done, remove chicken and shred it.
- In a small bowl, mix flour with some cooking liquid to make a slurry, then stir it back into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.
- Serve chicken with gravy over it.
