- 3 pounds beef ribs
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- In a bowl, mix the spices together to create a rub.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the beef ribs.
- Place the ribs in the smoker bone-side down and smoke for 5-6 hours.
- In the last hour, brush BBQ sauce over the ribs.
- Check for tenderness and internal temperature, 195°F (90°C) is ideal.
- Remove from the smoker and let rest for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the spice rub.
- You can add wood chips of your choice for different smoke flavors.
