- 4 beef chops
- 6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and brown the beef chops on both sides.
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the browned beef chops on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the heavy cream over the layers and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the beef chops for a few hours before cooking.
- Feel free to add vegetables between the potato layers for extra nutrition.
