- 2 cups diced fresh peaches
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 package pie crusts
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix diced peaches with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of peach mixture on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the pies until golden brown on both sides.
- In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm pies before serving.
Notes
- Make sure not to overfill the pies to prevent leaking during frying.
- These pies are best served warm.
