- 2 cans navy beans
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion until translucent.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beans, cooked bacon, sautéed onion, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
