  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion until translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the beans, cooked bacon, sautéed onion, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
