Ingredients

  • 1 loaf crusty bread
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, spinach, artichokes, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside, saving the bread pieces.
  4. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the spinach artichoke mixture.
  5. Place the filled bread on a baking sheet and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with the reserved bread pieces for dipping.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add red pepper flakes to the mixture.
  • This dip can be assembled a day ahead and baked when ready to serve.
