- 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and mashed
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package fruit pectin
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine mashed strawberries and sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the sugar to draw out the juices.
- Stir in lemon juice and fruit pectin. Mix well until everything is combined.
- Pour the mixture into clean jars, leaving some space at the top. Seal the jars with lids.
- Let the jam sit at room temperature for 24 hours to set.
- Once set, store in the freezer or refrigerator.

- For best flavor, use ripe, fresh strawberries.
- This jam can last up to a year in the freezer.
