- 1 box vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, and eggs, and mix until well combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve strawberry jello in boiling water and mix well.
- Pour the jello mixture over the poke holes in the cake.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 3 hours or until jello is set.
- Top with sliced strawberries and whipped topping before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a layer of cream cheese frosting.
- Best served chilled.
