  • 12 jumbo pasta shells large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Cover the stuffed shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked spinach or ground meat to the cheese filling.
  • Use your favorite marinara sauce or make your own.
