- 12 jumbo pasta shells large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Cover the stuffed shells with marinara sauce and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cooked spinach or ground meat to the cheese filling.
- Use your favorite marinara sauce or make your own.
