- 4 bell peppers
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the turkey and rice mixture.
- Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the peppers are tender.
Notes
- For added flavor, sprinkle some parsley on top before serving.
- You can substitute ground turkey for any other ground meat.
