Ingredients

  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel the ripe plantains and cut them in half lengthwise.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; remove and chop.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the chicken ham until heated through.
  5. Mix the chopped turkey bacon with chicken ham, cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. Stuff the plantain halves with the mixture.
  7. Place stuffed plantains on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the plantains are golden and cheese is melted.
