  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form half of the turkey mixture into a loaf shape on a baking sheet.
  4. Place shredded cheese in the center of the loaf.
  5. Cover with remaining turkey mixture and shape into a loaf again.
  6. Wrap the bacon slices around the meatloaf, securing with toothpicks if necessary.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let it rest before slicing and serving.
