Ingredients

  • 1 box sugar-free lemon cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup sugar-free instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups non-fat milk
  • 1 cup whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven as directed on the cake mix box.
  2. Mix the cake mix, water, and applesauce in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake according to package instructions.
  4. Once baked, remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  5. Poke holes throughout the cake using a fork.
  6. Mix the lemon and lime juice with the pudding mix and milk until smooth.
  7. Pour the pudding mixture over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
  8. Top with whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
