Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Cook the steaks on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the steaks are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and thyme, cooking for just a minute until fragrant.
- Once the steaks are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Top each steak with the garlic herb butter before serving.
Notes
- For best flavor, use fresh herbs.
- Letting the steak rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute.
