Delicious turkey bacon meatballs infused with the sweet heat of blackberry jalapeño BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup blackberry jalapeño BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. In the last 5 minutes, brush the meatballs with blackberry jalapeño BBQ sauce.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro.
