- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, combine the butter, water, and cocoa powder and bring to a boil.
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar, flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Pour the hot butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and buttermilk, then stir until smooth.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
- Let the brownies cool completely before frosting for best results.
