- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 4 slices Texas toast
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add the ground turkey, diced onion, and bell pepper. Cook until the turkey is browned.
- Add garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, toast the Texas toast slices until golden brown.
- Serve the turkey mixture on top of the Texas toast and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Top with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
