Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolks. Gradually add some of the hot mixture to the yolks, then return the mixture to the saucepan.
  3. Stir in the vanilla and continue cooking for 2 more minutes.
  4. Layer the vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding in a dish. Top with whipped cream.
  5. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
