- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding cooked broccoli or spinach to the pasta.
- Leftovers can be reheated on the stove with a splash of additional cream.
