  • 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
  4. Add chicken to the skillet and sear until browned on both sides.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and pour the beef broth over it.
  6. Top with the caramelized onions and cheeses.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
