Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups ice cream (your choice)
- 1 cup cornflakes, crushed
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
- Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours until it thickens.
- Form ice cream scoops and freeze for another 1-2 hours.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. In another bowl, place the flour, and in a third bowl, place the crushed cornflakes.
- Dip each scoop of ice cream first in the flour, then in the egg, and finally in the cornflakes to coat.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan, then fry the coated ice cream for about 30 seconds until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with toppings of your choice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding cinnamon to the cornflakes.
- Make sure the oil is hot enough to prevent the ice cream from melting too quickly.
