- 1 cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in the sugar.
- Mix in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
