- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup Sloppy Joe sauce
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned.
- Drain excess fat, then stir in the Sloppy Joe sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and spread the beef mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. Scatter the biscuit pieces over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the biscuits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
- This dish pairs well with a side salad or vegetables.
