Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add sliced strawberries and mix gently.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter in the baking dish.
  6. Pour the remaining cake batter on top.
  7. Sprinkle cocoa powder and chocolate chips on top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.
