  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and add milk and melted butter. Combine with dry ingredients.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
  5. For the tiramisu filling, mix mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and coffee liqueur in a bowl.
  6. Once the cakes are cool, soak them with brewed coffee.
  7. Layer the cakes with the tiramisu filling and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
